MEET OUR OWNER
Ed Zabala, PE
Ed is a seasoned Professional Engineer specializing in both structural and civil engineering, with a primary focus on structural projects. Since graduating from Cal Poly Pomona in 1997, he has held various roles in the engineering field, including draftsman, assistant engineer, staff engineer, project manager, and twice a firm owner. At his core, Ed is a dedicated design engineer.
Ed excels in non-building structures, particularly for manufacturing clients who fabricate steel structures such as access platform systems, fall-protection apparatus, liquid storage tanks, and other miscellaneous steel structures. He occasionally takes on wood, concrete, or masonry building projects, which he finds enjoyable. His expertise also extends to shallow and deep foundation design.
Ed is passionate about his work and is committed to continuing in the field for as long as possible. He is also enthusiastic about mentoring others in the profession, readily sharing his knowledge with those who are humble and eager to learn.
